Raytracing!!!

@jasonr86: Boy, I tell you hwat....once them 3080ti or 3090 cards drop some more in price, I'm going to replace the Asus TUF Radeon RX 6800 XT I currently have in my rig. The ray tracing Nvidia has is much more superior to anything AMD is capable of putting out there. Plus those Nvidia drivers are way better and much more stable. 22.3.1 on the Radeon side fucked my shit up until I rolled it back to 22.2.1. There is a Mico Center within 30mins of where I live. They currently have over 30 RTX 3080ti cards in stock. The price is still a bit up there but we all know the situation may be much different by next week. :D
I decided to play a little bit of King's Field 1 with Retroarch since beating Elden Ring. I played both King's Field games on the PS1 when they came out, but it's been a little bit. I forgot that From has been jerks from the very beginning. For example, I came across a room that had three chests. Only one had an item, the other two had skeletons that one shot me.
Also there are hidden walls that you have to find to progress.
@mistersims: I want to see how you do on the hardest difficulty in Minesweeper.
Concorde now available in MSFS.
I showed it to my father and he really enjoyed it, he used to work for British Aerospace near Filton airport which is the "spiritual home" of Concorde and he always lights up whenever he sees it.
Update, someone made the the famous Pepsi livery i last saw in Flight Sim 98.
I've stayed away from photogrammetry cities in Flight Sim because i didn't think they'd be that interesting and dislike some of the blurry results it gets, but i've been flying around Munich all morning taking pictures... mostly of car parks because i'm weird i guess, it's just so interesting to see what people are doing down there.
I haven't fact checked what any of these places are and i love guessing.
A power plant? But it seems weird that a power plant would also employ solar panels in the nearby field unless it's unrelated.
Couldn't guess what this is, water sanitation? All water is clean in Flight Sim, that building on the left is nuts.
This looks like one big facility and i'm guessing the trees aren't that extreme in real life giving it an overgrown look, i'm mesmerised by this combination of buildings and the sloped glass entrance, no idea what it is, a hospital? Munich's version of the Pentagon?
I love how dirty and jam packed this yard is, there's obviously a company next door with those vans and lorries, but then there's a garage? A used car dealer? Maybe they strip them for parts? What's with the massive thermos flask behind it?
That's a lot of vans.
I did look at this one on Google Maps and i think it's a BMW test track, it does not have photogrammetry data which is why it's so flat.
An interesting design for a car park, is it all for that fairly small building at the top? Why does every segment have a little kiosk in the middle?
Anybody here work at Poco?
Down the road from the Poco and i can't tell if this building is under construction? Is it derelict? There's quite a lot of mess on the roof.
I had to try landing in this shabby looking sports field, is the "H" in the field/car park across for helicopters? The other area has what looks like a tiny race track? For RC cars? It's too small for karts, i thought it was a kids playground initially.
I crashed shortly after this and haven't been able to find it again, just a really cool looking area.
This little lake fascinated me, behind the trees are some rusty looking boats on the shore and besides that it doesn't look like anyone knows its here, there's a motorway nearby but no one lives near it, what's with the completely clear vacant area? It almost looks like sand.
I intend on flying around some more, lots of stuff to see in Munich :P.
@cikame: Some really cool shots in there.
The fictional jet from the new Top Gun was added to Flight Sim, Mach 10 capable and flown at extreme heights, naturally i took it to Area 51.
Go fast enough and the front edges start glowing red.
It's especially visible at night.
Getting some Pink Floyd vibes up here, i flew from the UK to Louisiana in 40-50 minutes.
