Ratings: ‘NCIS’ Finales Up – but Not Enough to Outsing ‘The Voice’

"So You Think You Can Dance" premiere down from last year

CBS's "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" posted modest gains with their season finales Tuesday night, but they weren't enough to overtake "The Voice," which drew the night's best ratings in its new 9 p.m. timeslot and drove NBC to a win in the key demographic, according to preliminary numbers.

NBC was first in the advertiser-preferred 18-49 demographic with a 2.4/7 and third in total viewers with 7.4 million. A recap episode of "The Voice" at 8 p.m. posted a 2.0/6 and had 6.6 million total viewers, while a new episode of the series drew a 3.4/10 — down slightly from last Tuesday's 8 p.m.
